Visit to Grandparents

When summer vacations arrive, children get excited to visit their grandparents. Similarly, grandparents eagerly await the vacations to meet their beloved grandchildren.
Ron was especially thrilled to visit his grandma’s house. He spent days preparing handmade cards to give to his grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, and Cousin David. David and Ron were best buddies; they shared everything.
When Ron reached his grandparents’ house with his parents, everyone was filled with joy and excitement.
“Ron!” Grandma exclaimed, enveloping him in a warm hug. “Look at how much you’ve grown!”

Ron’s grandma, a generous lady who adored Ron, had prepared a feast for them, including Ron’s favorite dish—macaroni and cheese with crispy chicken.
Everyone gathered around the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter. Ron and David chatted about the new toys and the clothes they had recently bought.
“Guess what, Ron? I got a new PlayStation!” David said excitedly.
“Wow! Can we play after dinner?” Ron asked eagerly.
“Of course!” David replied, grinning.
After dinner, David proudly showed Ron his new PlayStation, and they quickly got absorbed in playing it together. The room was filled with laughter and the sounds of their game.

After a while, Ron remembered the handmade cards he had prepared for everyone. He hurriedly went to his mom to get his bag, pulled out the cards, and distributed them.
“Grandma, this one is for you. And Grandpa, this one is for you,” Ron said, handing out the cards.
Grandma was overwhelmed with emotion, and Grandpa appreciated his effort, patting him on the back. Aunt gifted Ron a skateboard, which made him feel like he was on cloud nine—he had always wanted one!
Later, Ron and David went to Grandma’s room, eagerly awaiting her bedtime stories. Grandma told them a thrilling tale from her childhood involving a mysterious ghost. The boys listened intently, their eyes wide with fascination.
The next morning, Ron woke up to the smell of freshly baked bread. After a hearty breakfast, he went out with his dad to the family farm. There, he saw tall date palms, mango trees, and grapevines laden with fruit.

“Wow, look at all these trees!” Ron exclaimed.
Uncle smiled and said, “Do you know that eating two dates a day can significantly improve your health? They’re full of nutrients.”
“That’s amazing!” Ron said, intrigued.
On the following day, Ron decided to help Grandpa in the garden. Grandpa was preparing pots for new plants and painting them. Ron, talented in drawing, decorated the pots with vibrant flowers and plants.

Grandpa was impressed. “These look fantastic, Ron! You’ve done an excellent job.”
He handed Ron some money as a reward for his hard work.
Ron was surprised and asked, “Why are you giving me money, Grandpa?”
Grandpa explained, “This is for your hard work. You earned this money by putting in effort and creativity.”
This small gesture taught Ron an important lesson: hard work pays off, and there are rewards for diligence and dedication.
As the days went by, Ron’s bond with his grandparents and cousin grew stronger. They went on picnics, played games, and shared countless stories. These moments became cherished memories for Ron, making this summer vacation the best one yet.

When it was finally time to leave, Ron felt a twinge of sadness but was also filled with happiness from the wonderful time spent with his family.
“I promise to come back soon, Grandma,” Ron said, hugging her tightly.
“We’ll be waiting, dear,” Grandma replied, smiling warmly.
Ron waved goodbye, already looking forward to the next summer vacation.
